So....

it's 2010 all of a sudden. How did that happen? Do you know what this means? DO YOU?

It means I turn 30 this year. DID YOU HEAR WHAT I SAID? I'm going to be 30.

Up till now, I thought 30 was this mythical number that was so far off in the future that I would NEVER reach it. I mean, 30 is old, right? OLD. I'm old.

How do you other old people deal with this oldness?

You must teach me your wise, old ways.

Well, I must say in my ancient crustiness of the age of 35 I think you should just embrace your elderliness...celebrate!

K I was seriously thinking the same thing that it's 2010....NUTS! where did the time fly? Although I'm not OLD until 2011 ;) I still feel it though. you have until May. write down what you want to do before you get OLD ;) and do it. My sister in law had a 30 things to do before she hits 30 list. I think she got most of it done.

I also turned 30 in 2010. Time just flies and before you know it, we will be swapping dentures with the other old ladies in the nursing homes and walking around with our walkers.

I thought 30 was bad - but 31 is worse because it puts you well into your 30s! And it will be here before you know it. I think I've been going through a mid-life crisis for over a year now.

Happy New Year

Every night at around 8pm, I announce, " K, it's time for bed !"  and my 8 yr old (who we now consider to be autistic) ...
