- I love how excited my husband is when he comes home from school. He likes it. He talks on and on about welding things, and I in no way understand what he is talking about. It's cute. He's cute.
- So, we didn't make it to church on Sunday. This also means I did not go to church three times in January. Don't despair! The year is not over yet.
- I very much love popcorn. I will eat some later. (and by later, I mean right now.)
- I got this Barbie for Christmas from my husband's grandmother. It's called the Scarlet Macaw.

- I finally got some new shoes to Jazzercise in. I can't wait to try them out.
- We found a new place at 119th and BlackBob called Five Guys Famous Burgers and Fries. It was awesome. They use fresh cut potatoes that, according to the sign, came from Idaho Falls, ID. I ordered the biggest burger. A bacon cheeseburger. The guy at the register felt like he needed to tell me that this burger had a half pound of meat, and being female, I might not be able to eat it all. I looked at my husband and LAUGHED. Oh, I can eat it all. Yes, I can. With jalapenos too. 95% of the people in the establishment were male. So, apparently, it's a sexist restaurant. I am a feminist restaurant patron. I DEMAND equality in the meals served to me and my male counterpart and.....uh.... Oh, sorry, got carried away there for a sec. Anyway, the burger was really good. And they had free peanuts too.
- My Microeconomics professor got into a minor confrontation over the Koran in class with a student. The student never came back to class. Seriously, the guy dropped his class because the Professor said there was some violence in religious texts, such as the bible and the Koran. Dude. You meet a lot of interesting people at the Community College. Very interesting.
- My daughter lost tooth number five on Wednesday. Pretty soon she is going to have an empty mouth.
- My little boy smells strongly of ramen noodles and syrup.

Right Now
Recently, (and by recently, I mean right now) I have come to realize that I have only made one list this month. I am going to fix that very soon. (and by soon, I mean right now.)

Now is Your Chance!
To my fellow Gardnerites and also to our esteemed neighbors, the Edgertonians, to our south. Spring Hillians are also welcome. (We might let you come if you are a Wellsvillian, but probably only if you bring food.) An amazing opportunity awaits you! Try Jazzercise for free on January 26, 2009! Just tell them Leslie sent you, and you will be treated with the up most care and respect. Babysitting is available for a dollar a child. And that dollar includes a Dum Dum sucker in the flavor of your child's choice. Does it get any better than that?
Class times:
5:30 am, no childcare
9 am, w/childcare
4:30 pm, w/childcare
6 pm, w/childcare
BE THERE OR BE SQUARE!!
Come on! All the COOL people are doing it!
No really, everyone at the Gardner Jazzercise is so cool!

The Holiday Cheer Meister
I am watching the Inauguration day events on ABC. There are just so many events. Did you know that President Obama will be attending TEN Inauguration Balls tonight? Why not just stick him in the Chair of Cheer and feed him pudding?
This is not pudding.
This is not pudding.

Let's Talk About This
So, I closed my poll like six hours early. I wanted to change my background. (If you didn't get to vote, it's your own fault for waiting till the last minute. Shame.) But I did write down the results. They are as follows:
Have FHE with the family.
2 votes......18%
Shave my legs more
3 votes.......27%
Stop swearing in front of Mel and Cherise
2 votes.......18%
Go to church three or more times a month
4 votes.......36%
Change the music on my blog's play lis
0 votes.......0%
So after you preform a poll, you should analyze the results, right? Let's analyze, shall we?
The two people who voted for FHE are practical people. They know that I would not have to leave the house to accomplish this goal, there by making the likelihood of me actually having FHE with my family, increase significantly.
Three people voted for me to shave my legs more. Chaa!! Like I'm gonna do that! I mostly put it on the poll for a joke. I'm thinking the people who voted for this either Jazzercise with me, or caught a glimpse of my ankles at church. Don't worry people, I shave before I put on a swimsuit. I know, your welcome.
Two votes for not swearing in front of Melanie and Cherise. Obviously it was Mel and Cherise who voted for this. They really don't believe I''ll actually do it though. But mostly it's not my fault. It always happens when all the other Moms leave playgroup early to get there kids ready for school, or something else lame like that. So you see, the smaller the number of people there are, the more comfortable I am, and therefore, more likely to say H#%@. See, not my fault.
And lastly, the winner. Four votes for going to church 3 or more times a month. So, I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say my Mom voted for this twice, and maybe Dad once. And now I confess, this is what I voted for also. But that doesn't mean I'm going to like it, and it's definitely not going to be easy.
Oh, wait, I also had change the music on my blog. No votes. I can only surmise that everyone thinks I have rockin taste in music. Thank you. I agree.
11 votes total. Good polling people.

One Hundred and Forty Dollars
That's how much it cost me to fix my computer. That and two hours listening to the kids cry at Best Buy. But the upside to this is two fold. First, they cleaned all the dust out of the inside of my computer. Now it makes no noise. Yes, that's right. I said NO NOISE. Wow. And second, I can actually turn ON my computer now. That always good.

Quote of the Day
This was said to me this morning by my six year old daughter,
"My room is too boring to sleep in. I'm serious!"

Bada Bing!
- Yesterday, I went to Jazzercise. I had not gone in two weeks. Today, I am SO SORE. Are you serious that I didn't use my shoulder muscles for two weeks? At all? How is that possible. They are so sore.
- Something unusual just happened. I took a shower.(wait, that's not the unusual part) When I got out of the shower, I found my husband taking down the Christmas Tree. All by himself, just cause. He never does stuff like that. But I am glad he did it, because lets be honest here, if he had waited for me to do it, that tree would have been there for another week and a half. Or maybe more. No one really knows.
- How long does that popcorn in those Topsy tins last anyway? Cause I've been working on one for a few weeks now, and I'm starting to question it.
- Rock of Love Tour Bus with Brett Michaels starts on VH1 here in a couple of weeks. Oh, man! I'm so excited! I love that show. I thought for sure they wouldn't do another one. But on a tour bus? Whoa! This show is every reason why my Dad did not want MTV or VH1 in his home. **She giggles while she types**
- This just in: The husband has just cleaned the garage, cleared the slow drain in my bathroom sink, and dusted off the ceiling fans. And at this very moment, I kid you not, he is unloading the dishwasher. What is going on?
- My kids think it is stick things in Mom's face and scream in her ear day. And believe me, they are celebrating with gusto.
- You know what people? We need to update our blogs. OK? It's like a blogger waste land out there.
- I'm thinking I should set a self improvement goal for 2009. What do we think? Vote to your right. No, wait! Your left. Crap.
