So, I'm alive, I promise.

So I guess it has been awhile since I posted last. Unfortunately, I have nothing very exciting to report. I guess I did discover that if you are poor, the bank gets to tell you how much money you can spend in one day. Does that seem fair to you? We got our tax refund and headed to Costco to stock up on the necessities of life. We got to the register, $750. No problem, we have 3 times that much in our account. (Much, much higher than our average daily balance.)Declined! What? How can that be? My husband calls the bank and they tell him he can't use his debit card for more than $300 a day! I was so mad that I had to self medicate. My husband went back with the check book and had no further problem. We just had to burn a lot of gas getting there and back twice. Let me tell ya, this isn't the first time we have been screwed by our bank either. One time my husband pulled up to the drivethru and asked for twenty dollars and they gave it to him and he drove away. No big deal except that we didn't have $20 dollars and they didn't tell him and charged us a huge overdraft fee. I hate banks. They screw poor people. Why don't we have a credit Union in this small town? We have 6 banks, 5 liquor stores, and 4 bars. We must have a lot of rich drunks here in Gardner.

So other than that, I have been going to all my classes and getting fabulous grades so far. I can't believe I am saying this, but I LOVE school. It is so fun to do my homework. I feel like I'm playing at being a kid again. This time, however, I'm not doing my homework half assed like I did in high school. So good for me. You can say it too.
