Yep. I totally dropped the "H" word at playgroup.
I'm really embarrassed about it.
And I'm surprised that I am so embarrassed. It's not like I dropped the "F" word or anything.
But I am sorry. So sorry I exposed those righteous women to such naughty words. I should be ashamed!
Oh wait, I am.

Local Artist First Item Offered to the Public
A friend of ours has listed a Miniature Log Cabin made out of polymer clay, made by my husband. Here is the link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220273577934&fromMakeTrack=true&ssPageName=VIP:Watchlink:middle:us
This is a picture of a Miniature Church that my husband also made. If the Log Cabin sells, he will most likely list one or two churches too. Some old lady somewhere would just LOVE it. So check out his auction. I think it's pretty cool.

Funny Quote
Today I am cleaning my house. Blahhhhhhhhh!!!!! But, I have the T.V. turned to the Disney channel. It's my favorite and my husband won't let me watch it when he is home. I mean serious, what's wrong with Hannah Montana and Camp Rock? (I super love Camp Rock by the way.) Every now and then, Disney comes up with these one liners that just kill me, mostly in the pixar movies. Right now Brother Bear 2 is on. The shaman, er I mean Sha-woman had a good one when she said, "Wise and Man don't even belong in the same sentence." Ah, so true, so true.

Things That a Six Year Old Hates
Sometimes my 6 year old daughter kills me. Here are two things she said to me last night.
1. " I hate that." as she is pointing at the stove where I am cooking. It didn't matter that she really did like it. She ate it and didn't complain, but she just had to get a jab in there about what was for dinner. She does it almost every night. Hey, I used to do it my Mom too.
2. After I told her to wash her own, she said, "I hate butt cracks." This about laid me on the floor, I was laughing so hard. Doesn't everyone?

Just Stuff
Well, nothing too exciting is going on. So, just randomness, again.
1. My husband and I have both started our classes at the Community College. I am very proud of my Husband. Plus, when he came home from his first class, he was a little overwhelmed and he said to me, "I have a new understanding of what you are doing." Which I really liked because all last semester when I was stressing over a paper for my Comp 1 class, he would say, "What's the problem? I could write a four page paper in like 10 min." So you see, honey, I do know what I am talking about sometimes. You should remember that and listen to me more.
2. The kids both started school and I am a free woman from 8am to 3pm. Yes! I know, you can tell me how jealous you are of me in your comment at the end of this post.
3. A few people in my ward have put me on their link list on their blog. This has led to more traffic on my blog, but not more comments. Why is this? I know you are looking-so comment already, M-kay? (Lisa and Emily H., this message is not for you. You guys comment great. This is for Leah, Rachel, Megan, and whoever lives in Gardner. He, he.)
4. I finished Breaking Dawn. It rocked. And the Twilight movie release has been moved up like three weeks. That's cool. I don't care what anyone else says, I love the guy they picked for Edward. Cedric Diggory is cute people. Cute. Why does everyone have to dog on him?
5. I need new clothes.
6. My husband's Aunt insists that Obama is linked with Al-Quida. I tried and tried to tell her that was ridiculous, but apparently, she knows in her heart what is right. So you might want to take this bit of info into consideration when you vote. Baa-haaa-haaa-haaa!

How Cool is This?
Hey, Terry Twins! You two are so jealous of me right now. You don't even know it yet. I got something in the mail today......from Maria V. Snyder!
And it's signed and personalized! How cool is that?
(For those of you who may not know these books, check this link out for summaries and excerpts, if you are so inclined.) I found a contests page on that website. I got five people to email Maria Snyder to tell her I told them about her books. Then I got an email from Maria herself!
So, thank you to:Lisa (my sister), Donnica (my V.T. comp and friend), Su (my mom in law), Steph and Mel (just my all around good friends) for taking the time to humor me. I love all of ya.

First Day of School
Today is the first day of school. Hooray! I am so ready for the kids to be gone all day. My four year old starts school tomorrow. My six year old was so excited to see all her friends from Kindergarten. She is a really slow eater so I gave her this big lecture about how she needed to eat her breakfast and lunch really fast so she would have time to finish and she wouldn't be hungry. In response to my lecture, she shoved a whole triangular piece of her quesadilla in her mouth. Yeah, it choked her and she had to throw it up. Lovely. Then the bus was 5 min early so we had to make a run for it. Starting the year off right, it seems.
