First Day of School
Today is the first day of school. Hooray! I am so ready for the kids to be gone all day. My four year old starts school tomorrow. My six year old was so excited to see all her friends from Kindergarten. She is a really slow eater so I gave her this big lecture about how she needed to eat her breakfast and lunch really fast so she would have time to finish and she wouldn't be hungry. In response to my lecture, she shoved a whole triangular piece of her quesadilla in her mouth. Yeah, it choked her and she had to throw it up. Lovely. Then the bus was 5 min early so we had to make a run for it. Starting the year off right, it seems.
