So it's official. The Chiefs traded Jared Allen to the Vikings for 3 picks in today's draft. So Jared becomes the highest paid DE in the NFL. Whoopde do. Jared Allen you turncoat, rat! We are officially in a fight. Didn't you love us? Cause we loved you. Didn't you see all those little old ladies laughing at you on the Sunday morning Chiefs talk show? You seemed to eat it up. I feel betrayed. You left us for money. Well ha ha! Jared Allen, the Vikings suck worse than the Chiefs do.
And don't think I'm not mad at management either, cause I am. Herm Edwards and Carl Peterson have a lot to prove today. They were successful last year when they picked WR Dwayne Bowe with the 23rd pick overall. That guy can catch about anything. The chiefs have a lot of holes to fill, especially in the offense, but also now on the defensive line. Probably most important, we are in bad need of a QB that can step up to the plate. Today's draft holds the future of the Chiefs. Make it good Herm and Carl. Make it good.
