So.....

Well, the draft is over and everyone seems to think the Chiefs did a good job. I have no idea why they picked the positions they did, apparently they are switching all the player's positions around this year. The Chiefs are a team under construction. I won't get my hopes up for anything too great for this upcoming season. Dang it! My parents live so close to River Falls Wisconsin, where the Chiefs go for Training Camp. Maybe I should go check them out there. That would be fun.

Yesterday, my daughter tasted Miracle Whip for the first time. (We are mayonnaise people.) She stuck her finger in the Miracle Whip, she tasted it, her eyes lit up, and she said, "It taste like really, really, big, rainbow mayonnaise!" I thought, "Wow. What a good use of description. " Can you tell I am taking Composition 1 at the moment?

My good friend Emily is off to Hawaii with her mother today. She gets to leave her kids behind. She is so LUCKY!!!! Have a great trip Em! I'll try not too get to depressed that I'm not going with you.

Monday night, I finished and turned in my final project for my Computer Concepts class. It felt so GOOD! I actually finished my first college course with an A. I am proud. I turned to my neighbor to say goodbye since we had sat next to each other every week since the semester started. I said, "Well, I'm not going to be here next week...." Then he saluted me and said, "God bless you." Well God bless you too, David Kelsay, you German-Spanish speaking, half Peruvian, in credit card debt, freak. I just might miss you.

Oh, wait! One more thing, I realized (again) today that I am just like my Mom, when I started picking dandelions out of my neighbors yard so they wouldn't go to seed and blow into my yard. Sigh.
