Grass

Ah, I remember my childhood in the grass. It was lovely. You could sit on it, lay on it, and roll around on it. Mom kept an immaculate lawn, as did most of our neighbors. Here in Kansas, there are big, luscious, carpets of grass in my neighborhood, they are just begging me to have a sit down. See what I mean?
As I sit here typing this, I am looking out at my back lawn and I want so badly to go lay on it in the morning sunshine. But I'm not going to. The fear is within me, because hell hath no fury like a panty line full of chiggers.

I do not know what Chiggers are and it sounds like I'm supposed to be VERY grateful I don't! My lawn is just starting to green up but it is Chigger free. Then again, if it isn't I guess I'll be finding out the hard way!
