Marvelous Mom Monday

One day my church magazine arrived in the mail. On the cover:Jesus Christ. At the time, my daughter was about 1 1/2 yrs old. We were working labeling things in pictures. I think to myself, what a good opportunity to teach my daughter who Jesus is. I held up the magazine to my chest facing my daughter and I point to the picture, "See, this is JESUS, yeah, JESUS!" My daughter points at her nose and says, "Jesus!". I look down at the picture, I'm pointing right at Jesus's nose. Now my daughter thinks her nose is called Jesus.

That, my friends, is good parenting.
