I Feel Like Listing

  • My boy is at summer school. My daughter had a friend over the other day. She asked me if her friend could come home with us right when I got done exercising. Sheesh, kids these days, they have an uncanny knack for finding your weak moments. I mean really, would you be able to stick to your guns after exercising with Betsy at Jazzercise? I don't think so!
  • Oh, and speaking of you, Betsy! You think your so funny playing that Ashley Simpson song, and apologizing to me before the song starts. For shame!! You are just as bad as Jen, wishing me a happy Halloween before playing Born to be wild. You wisenheimers! You guys know I hate those songs!
  • I think I have a little crush on John Lasseter.
  • Hey Mom! I got straight A's!! Tell me how awesome I am.
  • Oh, yeah. Jason got straight A's too.
  • I have been staving off my daughter's summer boredom(yes, already) with cooking. She got a Paula Deen children's cook book for Christmas. So far, we have made Tuna Melts 3 times(she keeps asking for them), and Porcupine Balls once. Both were surprisingly good. The best part is, we have most of the ingredients already, and the kids will actually eat the food. I know if I tried to feed them Porcupine Balls that I made, they would have turned their noses up at it.
  • David Carradine was found dead in a hotel room somewhere in Asia. It was apparently a suicide. Why does this make me want to watch the North and South mini-series so bad? Cause I do, really, really, bad. I own it on DVD, you know. Lisa, I know you are sooooo jealous of this fact.
  • Oh crap!! I just remembered the DVD player decided to die this week.
  • I finally have raised enough money for a pool pass. Gardner pool, here we come!! I can't wait to get re-acquainted with all the sun burned fat ladies in bikinis. Also, I enjoy seeing how just about everyone in Gardner has a tattoo or two. Or three or four. I'm so excited to be sprayed with that water gun on top of the play equipment by some punk kid. It's great!! Nothing is better than that cloudy water, and that sticky gum all over the pavement? It's awesome!! Totally worth the $150 dollars for a family pool pass. SO worth it.
